We each have our own personalities, like and dislikes and are all handmade, taking about 3 hours from conception to birth to create.

Our 'Save Our Socks' characters are all individually handmade by Nikki Golesworthy. They have buttons and beads and aren't made for small children, but eveyone else with a sense of fun.

'Minnie'
Minnie is a stripy girlie with lots of flowers and jewels, ooh and she has wings…. Flying is part of her daily life, popping to the zoo and scouring the locality for her fave food, smarties. She’s a contented gal, but is still looking for a love outside of a world of smarties. She once had a sister called Molly who loved reciting Shakespeares’ sonnets whilst consuming quantities of tutti-fruttis and strawberries. But they fell out over the merits of lemon bon-bons at the cinema.

Heidi is a twin to Lola, but they aren’t identical. She wishes she had longer legs, mainly because she loves wearing tall socks, she hopes they will make her legs look longer. But they don’t. What would Gok say? ! She loves to practice Ti-Chi, but is a bit wobbly on her pins. She recovers from her lack of balance sessions by peeling grapes.

Lola is a twin to Heidi. She loves to spend her time at parties and sometimes, when she has the time, she sleeps. But not often.
One day she dreams of being a showgirl. Her favourite tea? It’s got to be sprouts, especially al dente with melted butter and cheddar cheese, a perfect antidote to a night out raving, or discussing the merits of Tempranillo versus a Shiraz.
